Event details: 6.11 Mile Walk from East End Park
Description
Meet other walkers/hikers who are interested in walking in the Kingwood area. We will meet at East End Park but will be walking the Greenbelt. We will do approximately a 6.11 mile walk on the greenbelt through Kings Point Village. This is truly a lovely walk around a man made lake and partly going by Lake Houston. Blanca will be leading this walk. Remember to bring water, hats, suntan lotion, bug repelent, and dress for the weather (long pants are recommended - some horse flies). This is a long walk so make sure you have plenty of fluids. No restrooms on the walk - so go before the start. We tend to get lost on the greenbelt, so be prepared to turn around several times. It is always an adventure seeing if we can make it within our quota of turn arounds.
