Description
Until May 6th daily 8-5; Until Sept 23rd daily 8-6; From Sept 24 daily 8-5; A moderate walk with some difficult terrain, one or two substantial hills. The trail encounters several prairie dog towns, traverses Lookout Point and follows a valley between high cliffs, with a rolling stream. The trial follows pre-existing park trails that are well marked. There are several creek crossings that have park maintained foot bridges. Hikers are encouraged to carry an ample supply of water. Also weather can cause a change in trail rating by as much as 1-2 points.
