The mission of STANDUP FOR KIDS is to help homeless and street kids. We do this, every day, in cities across America. We carry out our mission through our volunteers who go to the streets in order to find, stabilize and otherwise help homeless and street kids improve their lives. This organization requires an orientation meeting before doing volunteer work. If you cannot make the 7:30 meeting, there is one earlier at 6:30 on this same night. It is in the Banx meeting room in the library. Please bring a friend or family member. Allow 1 hour for this meeting. Hang around after the orientation to meet members of our volunteer group. Parking - McGrath Parking lot is metered, located on Salem St. near the library.
