It is a way of entering into the quiet that is already there - buried under the 50,000 thoughts the average person thinks every day." ~ Dr. Deepak Chopra This group meditation is focused on releasing the stresses from our day, week, and life by incorporating grounding techniques and repetition of a mantra to give your mind a vehicle to take your awareness within while easily drifting away from thoughts and the environment. We will commune with nature while reaching the silent space between our thoughts, expanding our consciousness and healing our bodies. Based on the teachings of Drs Deepak Chopra and David Simon from The Chopra Center for Wellbeing, Primordial Sound Meditation is a time-tested meditation technique dating back thousands of years to the ancient Vedic traditions of India. In this class I will briefly touch on the basics of meditation, where this style of meditation orginates, and what the benefits of meditation are to the body, mind, and soul. I will then guide everyone in a group meditation followed by a discussion on our experiences (completely optional). The class will last approximately an hour. I look forward to connecting with each of you and achieving my dream of manifesting a space where we share the energy that group meditation creates for it is one of the most beautiful and ethereal experiences.
