Description:
Kristina Smekens is a lively, engaging presenter who has worked with teachers all over the state of Indiana, as well as nationally. Maximize writing achievement with this nationally-acclaimed assessment and instructional framework while helping you students prepare for their state writing assessment. The fee covers continental breakfast and lunch as well as all materials. Audience: secondary teachers, administrators, curriculum coordinators, and 6th grade teachers who teach in a departmentalized situation such as a middle or intermediate school. Location: NWIESC. November 10-11, 2009 and December 15-16, 2009. Attendance is required at all four days of the training. 9:00AM-3:00PM (registration begins at 8:30AM); $300, Members of NWIESC and other Indiana ESC's; $375, Non-Members. 3 graduate level credit hours will be available for participation in the 4-day series (for an additional fee) or 12 CRUs or 24 PGPs at no extra charge.
