The American Bankruptcy Institute is the largest multi-disciplinary, non-partisan organization dedicated to research and education on matters related to insolvency. ABI was founded in 1982 to provide Congress and the public with unbiased analysis of bankruptcy issues. The ABI membership includes more than 11,500 attorneys, auctioneers, bankers, judges, lenders, professors, turnaround specialists, accountants and other bankruptcy professionals providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information. ABI is the nations leading provider of quality bankruptcy educational programs. ABIs national and regional conferences are highly rated in the bankruptcy community for their thorough discussions of the latest developments and the opportunities to earn continuing legal and professional education. The Annual Mid-Atlantic Bankruptcy Workshop brings together this regions preeminent insolvency professionals for three days of intense learning and fun.
