Rockin' For The Animals Benefit Concert Night 1
A benefit concert to support 'A Safe Place for Animals' in Gallatin. The shelter is NOT government funded. They only survive on donations. This is a NO KILL facility. We are having this concert to raise money, obtain supplies and food, and encourage adoptions to serious families. Most of you that know me know how I am about animals. I would save them all if I could but I can't. So what better way to help help my passion and love...throw a benefit concert to help the Furry Friends!
The concert will be held at the Holder Family Fun Center's 11th Frame Club on Friday, July 13th, 2012 7:00pm to 1:00am. Friday night's lineup: Heidi Jean, Jas Patrick, Rockaholics, Unlikely Suspects & John D'Amato. Also, legendary musician Billy Burnette (Larry Henley, Roger Miller, Fleetwood Mac etc....) will have an autograph signing session at some point in the evening. There will be a $5 cover. Proceeds to benefit the shelter. You may also make additional cash donations, bring supplies from their wish list, bring food for the animals, and bring items for their thrift store. There will be a designated area for each of these.
Additional information to include the wish list, bands attending, lineup, goals and staff members will be coming soon. There will also be volunteers from 'A Safe Place For Animals' at the concert both nights to answer questions about the facility and adoptions.
There will be an area near the cover table to bring material donations such as items from the wish list and thrift store items. SPA staff members will be helping us with this benefit and also available to answer questions about the facility and adoptions. I do have some adoption info on me such as pricing and how long it takes. There will also be a donation table set up for any additional cash donations. I ask that everyone attending please visit the donation table, band tables and Affliction table. Please keep an eye on the event wall as I will be posting more information as it comes.
