The American Chamber Ensemble in Concert

The American Chamber Ensemble will perform the second concert of their 2011-2012 season, presented by the Music Department of Hofstra University.

Repertoire for this concert will be Quartet for piano and strings by Carlos Surinach, Sonata for two clarinets and piano by Gary Schocker, Pastorale for clarinet and piano by Elliott Carter, American Pieces for violin and piano by Lukas Foss, A Little Bit for viola and clarinet by Meyer Kupferman and Quartet for clarinet and strings by Howard Boatwright.

Performers will be ACE Directors Naomi Drucker (clarinet), Blanche Abram (piano) and Marilyn Lehman (piano), with violinist Eriko Sato, violist Lois Martin and cellist Chris Finckel.

Special guest will be clarinetist Stanley Drucker.
