Espa Stage
Espa is a summer stage located in the Esplanadi park. Over 200 different artist groups perform on the stage during the summer. The performers at Espa include both young artists beginning their careers and well known and respected artists. Jazz-Espa, which has been called the longest jazz festival in Finland, has a well established place in the summer programme. For years, the performers of both Province days and Helsinki Day have brought joy to Helsinki inhabitants and travellers promenading in the Esplanadi park. Open: There are events on the Espa stage from 1 May until the end of August. Performances usually start at 4.30 p.m. Monday–Thursday, and at 10.30 a.m. on Saturday. On weekdays during the lunch hour, the stage is also a popular place to perform. Admission: Free of chargePost a Countdown Widget
