Description
The Webster Theatre is a popular music venue located in Hartford, Connecticut. When it first opened its doors to the public in 1937, the venue functioned as a movie theater. Nowadays, the Webster Theatre has firmly established itself as a leading destination for nationally recognized acts, as well as and local and regional talent.
The Theatre consists of two main concert spaces; the Main Stage and the Underground. The Webster Underground is a smaller venue space attached to the main theatre building, while the second concert space usually acts as a platform for showcasing the bigger acts that perform at the Hartford’s theatre. The Webster Theatre schedule features an array of music performances including rock, reggae, soul and other genres. In addition, the schedule has also hosted debates, movie nights, stage performances and dance nights.
