The Warehouse

We decided to rent out the Warehouse to put on a big show for artist's, bands, etc last weekend and had ALL kind of issues with this club. In all of my experience playing many many clubs, this place was the most UNPROFRESSIONAL excuse for a club that I have ever seen. We rented the place out the prior year when the old owner, Mike was still a part of the club. Since then someone named Rob (who doesn’t put his name anywhere as being “the owner”) took over the place and ran the place to the ground. Since we started planning for the show it has been nothing but a major headache. You basically have two guys who think they can run a club and only care about the bottom line. I understand that from a business perspective, but you can’t bite the hand that feeds you. If a band is promised specific conditions for a show, then I would think that as a business you would follow through. Let’s just say NOTHING that was agreed upon upfront, was followed through at the show. I won’t get into all of the specifics of what happened, but I would like to give you a heads up about playing the Warehouse in Hartford. If at all possible for your sake, and the local band community please look for other venues to play in the Hartford area.
