The 99% Fight Back! at Real Art Ways

Cost: Payment required - One non-perishable food item
Urban and Community Studies (UCS) will be hosting a week of film and conversation to educate and empower. We kick off the week with a showing of I AM, a documentary film directed by Tom Shadyac on March 4th at Real Art Ways. Shadyac asks "today's most profound thinkers, two questions – What’s wrong with our world, and what can we do about it?"

On March 7th, area scholars will lead a thought-provoking discussion on economic inequality and social activism. On March 8th, local community organizers and activists will share their experiences and offer tools for creating change. Both of these events will be held on the UConn Greater Hartford Campus. Parking available in the Student Lot on Trout Brook Drive.
