The countys newest park is located at 6775 Pharr Mill Road in Harrisburg. This 37 acre park provides passive recreational activities in a beautiful wooded setting. Popular with walkers, runners, families and nature lovers, the park features boardwalk trails, walking and biking trails, volleyball courts, horseshoes courts, a playground, a fishing pond, and individual picnic shelters for small group outings. Restrooms are available on site as well as vending machines. The oldest cemetery in Cabarrus County lies within the boundaries of the park and is owned by Rocky River Presbyterian Church. 704-920-3350
