Sonship is a conference committed to the idea that a relationship with God shouldn’t feel like being on a treadmill of performance but rather should be a life of joy and freedom, powered by grace and gratitude. This 2-day event is a relaxed, non-threatening atmosphere to investigate real life:
How will Christianity help me deal with my anger, defensiveness, depression, self pity, need for approval, judgmental attitude, and desire to control others?
How does a relationship with God help me to focus on the state of my heart and not on my performance?
How can my life be marked by joy instead of defeat and discouragement?
It’s designed to bathe the heart in the Father’s love through times of worship, teaching, prayer and small group discussions. It’s especially for those who are worn out trying to live up to the expectations of others and feel guilty that they’re not. It’s for those who try hard but often have a sense of failure. The Christian gospel tells the great news that God is in the business of turning people into His sons and daughters, so that they would live lives of hope, forgiveness, and liberty. Sonship is discovering how to live out the promises of God as his child.
