This annual exhibition showcases more than 100 works of art by many of Virginia's finest watercolor painters. The exhibition represents the highlight of the year for watercolorists from around the state. Work in every style from photo realism to abstraction expressed through traditional transparent, opaque gouaches and mixed media and collage with water media are featured. Virginia Watercolor Society Juried Exhibition at Location: Charles H. Taylor Arts Center

This annual exhibition showcases more than 100 works of art by many of Virginia's finest watercolor painters. The exhibition represents the highlight of the year for watercolorists from around the state. Work in every style from photo realism to abstraction expressed through traditional transparent, opaque gouaches and mixed media and collage with water media are featured. Nationally known painter and instructor Dan Smith will serve as juror and he will select more than $5,000 in awards. In addition he will lead a workshop for members of the Virginia Watercolor Society.
