24th Annual Community Motors Free Car Show

24th annual Community Motors Free Car Show, to be held Easter Saturday, April 7, at Community Motors, 500 Westin Oaks Drive (Hwy. 190 at I-55), Hammond. One of the only free shows in the area, entrants receive refreshments and door prizes as well as a chance at 50/50 raffle money. Vehicles must be 25 years old or older to compete for people’s choice trophies in both original and modified classes. A trophy is presented to the oldest original car or truck. Dash plaques and goody bags are given to the first 100 people registered. Sponsored by the Florida Parishes Vintage Car Club, registration opens at 9 a.m. and ends at noon. The show usually lasts to 4 p.m.
