Die Frühjahrsshows der schottischen Chartstürmer anläÃlich ihres dritten Albums "Tonight: Franz Ferdinand" waren im Nu ausverkauft. Zu recht, denn die Neu-Erfindung von Alex Kapranos, Nick McCarthy, Paul Thompson und Bob Hardy vier Jahre nach dem Zweitwerk "You Could Have It So Much Better" kann als bestens gelungen bezeichnet werden. Die Platte strotzt vor neuen Ideen, neuen Hits und neugewonnener Selbstsicherheit. Und das zeigt sich besonders live. Die ohnehin schon groÃe Spielfreude, die Franz Ferdinand seit jeher verströmen, ist noch gröÃer geworden, das Repertoire an Hits ebenfalls - und so ist es nur gut, dass die Herren uns glücklicherweise schnell wieder beehren.
