      WGBY Chef "Spearit" Lunch

      On the far end of Hadley Town Common in a private tent behind the WGBY Asparagus Festival is the WGBY Chef’s Spearit Lunch from 12:30–3 p.m. on Saturday, June 1.


      It’s a charming multi-course outdoor dining experience with gourmet asparagus-based dishes “spearheaded” by some of the Valley’s most talented and prominent chefs. Proceeds benefit WGBY, your local PBS station.


      WHAT’S ON THE MENU?


      The WGBY Chef’s Spearit Lunch begins with a 12:30 reception featuring appetizers from UNIVERSITY CLUB & RESTAURANT along with hand-crafted beer from BUILDING 8.


      Lunch will feature unique asparagus-inspired dishes from the culinary talents of

      OSTERIA VESPA (Chef Christopher McKenna & Owner Jonathan Welch)


      SIERRA GRILLE (Chef O’Brien Tomalin)


      Each course will be paired with wines from PROVISIONS. Water and seltzer will be provided by HARMONY SPRINGS.



      PLEASE NOTE: Enjoyment of beer and wine will require a valid photo identification with proof of age (21+). Please drink responsibly.



      SPECIAL PBS GUESTS


      Meet visiting guest chefs Dan Souza of America's Test Kitchen and Christie Morrison of Cook’s Country. They will each be on hand during the lunch. Book signing opportunities will be presented.
