The excitement of the Royal Tournament comes to Guildford this year: Cadets from Portsmouth Naval Base Field Gun Display Teams will be battling it out against the clock. Who else would gallop a horse, hanging upside down, head skimming the turf, but a Cossack? Gerard Naprous’ film star stunt team is back by popular request. It’s eNORMous, it’s scary, it’s shiny metal and unlike anything you’ve seen before - Watch out for Titan the Robot! Out of the sky to land right in front of you: The Tigers, free-fall parachute display, is breathtaking. Fly a falcon, rub noses with heavyweight beef bulls, exotic poultry, pygmy goats and llamas and even watch woolly sheep being relieved of their fleeces. Listen to the immaculate military music of the Band and Corps of the Royal Engineers. Check out the food theatre and the produce stalls - buy Surrey fare and taste the difference.
