Nate, next week there will be a big interview with Portnoy in YNET, the largest online (and traditional) media outlet! I've contacted the interviewer and the fanclub as well as the petition will get some exposure there. :P
I expect a surge in signups.

BTW, we are organizing an international fanclub meeting while we're in Turkey - the Israeli and Turkish clubs. There will also be a band member present (possibl two). In addition to that, we will meet the band before the show and we're going to mention this petition (that their(!) management started) to Portnoy, hopefully this will also help. It would be event better to back this up with some data from you guys - our trip is on the 28th so I hope to hear from you BEFORE that date. :)
YES! We actually have some traction. They finally got back in touch with us, and we had a conference call with them on Friday. I was out sick, but got a good report back from our Marketing Director on it. So, they're talking specifically about you guys and what they're going to do for you. I'll let you know more as I know more. Thanks for keeping in there Idan.
That's awesome Idan. I'm sorry they are so unresponsive. We're still working on getting in direct contact with them. We're having trouble getting them to respond to us.
