LOS ANGELES (Afrazmusic Corp) - Afrazmusic Corp sets its course on a national music tour modeled after the most popular networking site in the world; Myspace.com. The tour will feature his Myspace.com profile of his top 8 friends of several different musical genres. It is in support of the MyTop8Tour Compilation CD. Frazier, a hip hop/R&B act will headline the tour. The show will maintain the integrity of the networking giant by fusing Rock, Rap, R&B, Pop, Soul and more for its audiences. The promo tour will begin late summer/fall of 2006 at FYE superstores across the northeast region as well as venues across the country. Frazier will perform a full set of a plugged/unplugged R&B performance while each of his friends perform a 15 minute set afterwards. In each city a new friend will rotate as the headlining act and that artist will become his/her top 8. All these artists have niche sound as well as visual performances that will cater to the commercial audience without alienating their independent following. The mixture of these elements draws both the sophisticated crowds as well as the grassroots supporters. The popularity of his song Music is my life has been an industry favorite for years. It is a song that had previously landed Frazier a recording contract with Universal Records in 1998. Frazier has had his hands in the careers and has influenced artists such as Teej, Lori Diaz, Digable Planets, Jamie Fox, Javier, Dru Hill and more. The creation and collaboration of the song Myspace Addicted with artist Clasiq has grown exponentially on Myspace.com proving that there is a very interested audience for the performances of these artists. Additional artists such as Fusion (AC, Mitch,Dee Morris of MTV, and Atlas), Debo Jones of Hollywoog Entertainment, Niki Jean, Michele Perez, David Aaron, and Arron Brady are amongst the favorites to perform on this tour. Each of these artist are either on or have just rapped a multi-city tour on their own or with the F.Y.E (for your entertainment) chains to support their respective albums. Most of the artists on the MyTop8Tour are sponsored by Transworld Entertainment. Additional Sponsors are South Pole Clothing (Wicked Fashions) Ad-mat Designer, Fuseik Clothing,Hood Rich Apparel and The Industry Resource. The mesh of these artists will work famously as an independent tour. The intent of this tour is to go from the page to the stage. It will create additional notoriety for their Myspace.com artist profiles as well as create a foundation so that they can put on grander more elaborate performances throughout the US and abroad. Now that Myspace.com has extended their network internationally, it has afforded these artists a fan base that was somewhat impossible to reach without that proper forum. The marketing for this tour has been strategized by publicist Aulando Frazier of the Afrazmusic Corp who has prepared regional and national tours for Major Label and Independent artists. Frazier recently managed the Rap Renegades tour featuring Speech of Arrested Development, Tre Hardson of the Pharcyde and Rock soul artist Tracey Amos. In each city of the tour there will be a support artist chosen to open the show. The only requirement is that they have to have a Myspace.com artist profile with updated music and photos.
