Description
This group is for anyone who is interested in learning more about basic Kadampa Buddhist topics and/or meditation. Class will include guided meditation, short teaching and discussion, and time for socializing. Everyone is welcome. Join Ganden's resident teacher and American Buddhist nun, Kelsang Nyema, for a meaningful discussion and teachings guided by "Transform Your Life" by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Each class begins with a guided relaxation meditation, then there is a brief teaching on the evening's topic, time for question and answer, and finishes with a brief dedication. No special clothing or registration is required; just show up ready to relax and enjoy! We ask for a donation of $8 or $5 for students/seniors, but no one is turned away for lack of funds. http://www.meditationinsouthcarolina.org
