Matisyahu exploded in 2004 - after Matthew Miller dusted off his traditional Jewish upbringing, followed Phish around the country, visited Israel, dedicated himself to his faith and became � way more than what the world expected: a mere novelty act. Now the Hasidic reggae/rapper, whose Aug. 25 release earned him a spot on The Tonight Show with Conan O�Brien and propelled him on a world tour, is doing what he does best: making his fans a bit meshuggah (crazy) -- once again, he�s pushing the boundaries. Where he has long been a jam-band fave with rap inflections, now he�s got the chutzpah to rock out. That could be thanks to the album�s producer, who worked with sublime and the Sugar Ray. �Fans of the Black Eyed Peas/Jack Johnson collabo �Gone Going� will rejoice,� says Spin magazine. Moon Taxi is an explosive Rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. They have spent the past couple years touring relentlessly, honing their unique sound.
