Fri-Sun 8:30 am. - 5:00 p.m. Closed Mon - Thu and holidays. ALTERNATE START POINT (with IVV Stamp): Open daily 8:30-5, closed Christmas and New Year's days. Youth under age 18 may walk free with credit. Walk starts at Tannenbaum Park which has the oldest house in Guilford County, predating the Revolutionary War Battle fought at Guilford Courthouse in March of 1781. The trail, on park roads, gravel paths, and paved greenways, winds through four contiguous parks, past a lake, and a maze of monuments commemorating the Revolutionary War battle. Recommend large-wheeled strollers. Alternate trail available, mostly along a greenway. GPS: 36deg 07.8 , W79deg 51.2 .
