The Revenge of Bobby's Appalachian Extravaganza!

This ride is closed to further riders. NOTE: This is a RED LEVEL Ride. (And no, I'm not kidding.) What we are doing is reserving eight (8) rooms. Plan on sleeping two (2) people to a room. Cost for this, for each person, is $85.00 for the weekend, paid through PayPal. This covers your room only. Gas, food, souvenirs, etc... those are up to you. This was one of the most enjoyed and talked about rides that we did last year. I expect it will be a much anticipated ride again *this* year! Note: The *actual* date for this ride is July 24th, 25th & return on the 26th.. This ride will require that you take Friday off from work (we leave Friday Morning.) Also Note: As we have begun doing recently, we will make reservations as a group. This means that you do not have to make the reservations yourself, we will take care of that for you. It does, however, mean that we need a commitment from you, ASAP! Note: We have a chase vehicle for this ride. If you have something (or some things) that you want to take, but don't want to carry on your bike, the chase vehicle can carry them. We will work out the logistics of packing & storage in the chase vehicle later. You do NOT need to call and reserve your own room. All you need to do is RSVP & pay your $85.00 today! The upshot is, if you want to go on this trip, RSVP & pay NOW. Details 2009 Day 1 approx. 265 miles We will meet at IHop on Silas Creek Parkway at 8:00am. The ride leaves Friday AM at 9:00. We will travel Interstate 40 west with scheduled stops along the way. In Old Fort we will exit the Hwy and climb Black Mountain on Old US 70. From there we continue down I40 past Asheville to Tom's favorite road NC 151. Both old US 70 and NC 151 make this a RED LEVEL ride. We continue, down the parkway and across the byways of western NC arriving in Cherokee before turning SW toward our final destination Robbinsville. Here is the MAP
