Distance and Trail Rating: 5K/10km with 2km option 2
Start Point Address / Driving Directions:
101 Centerway. Take I-95 (495) to exit 23, Rt 193 east to Southway. Southway to Centerway. Baltimore-Washington Parkway traffic: Northbound, exit MD193. Remain in the far right lane of exit and bear right at end of ramp on Greenbelt Rd. Bear right before next traffic ight onto Southway. Continue straight ahead to Greenbelt Center. Southbound: exit MD 193. Remain in far right lane of exit and bear right at end of ramp onto Southway, continue straight ahead to Greenbelt Center. You must make a short drive from the Aquatics and Fitness Center to the park where the event starts. Event Description: M-F, 6AM to 10PM; Sat and Sun, 8AM-9:45 PM. Open all holidays but call ahead for hours. The Park is closed at dark. This trail is entirely on natural surfaces with a few brief departures from level. Wear adequate walking shoes. A walking stick is helpful if the trail is wet. There is one minor hill.
