Mel Trotter Golf Marathon of Hope

Each year, over 500 core city children, many from households struggling with drug and alcohol abuse, poverty, and neglect, attend our residential summer camp near Hopkins, Michigan. This complete, fun-filled camping experience includes horsemanship, lakefront activities, crafts, athletics, hayrides, chapel service and bible studies, and more for every child who attends. Each week of camp is designed to point these kids to a better way of life through a relationship with Jesus Christ. All funds raised at the Golf Marathon of Hope are used for camp scholarships. Nearly 90% of the children who attend camp do so at no cost thanks to the gracious donors who participate each year.
