Lone Star Park 2012 Spring Thoroughbred Season Opening Weekend at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie

Celebrate the opening of the 2012 Spring Thoroughbred Season with a fun-filled weekend at Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie. The festivities, which include live music, races, and family activities, will begin with the opening ceremonies Thursday night. Friday, following the races, the Lone Star Music Series will kick off with MCA Nashville recording artist, the Randy Rogers Band, live in concert. The series will continue on Saturday with award-winning country singer Gary Allan live in concert. Sunday is Lone Star Park’s annual Family Fun Day. Attendees can enjoy ostrich and camel races, bounce houses, pony rides, and a petting zoo in the Family Fun Park to conclude the weekend.
