On half day tours we'll paddle along the base of towering palisades or perhaps into and through sea caves and arches. If you would like more in depth instruction, Cascade Kayaks has a paddling course for you whether you're an experienced paddler or someone interested in trying coastal kayaking for the first time. Let our American Canoe Association certified instructors help you improve your knowledge and technique and discover the full potential of what kayaking has to offer. Join a guided and fully outfitted multi-day trip to explore the premier touring areas of Lake Superior Water Trail, Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Pukaskwa National Park. We provide everything from food to tents, sleeping bags, wetsuits and kayaks on our extended trips. All you need to bring are your clothes, personal items and a desire for adventure. Kayak rentals are available if you'd like to plan your own Lake Superior adventure. Our retail store features a selection of touring kayaks, whitewater kayaks, paddling accessories and outdoor clothing. You can expect excellent customer service and expertise in all aspects of kayaking, and our new on the water location makes test paddling kayaks easier than ever. Cascade kayaks is open daily from May-September and by appointment October-April. We're located one half block East of Broadway Avenue in Downtown Grand Marais, Minnesota at 20 East First Street.
