Description
An MFA candidate at the Art Institute of Boston, Kuehn has returned to his source for inspiration, Lake Superior, and examined it with an eye for the unseen, unknown, and the ominous. From rock piles to forgotten pieces of trash, Kuehn references unwitnessed events and leaves an eerie sense of the sublime in his paintings of the North Shore.
