Description
Join outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers and other runners for a unique opportunity to run on a Scenic Byway, Northern Minnesota's very own Gunflint Trail. The Ham Run is the perfect way to celebrate Earth Day and Mother Nature while running in the Superior National Forest. Spring is a time of re-birth and growth and the Gunflint will be greening up, especially along parts of the race course that were affected by the Ham Lake Fire in 2007.
Directions to Event The race will begin at Gunflint Pines Resort and Campground on South Gunflint Lake Road, approximately 43 miles from Grand Marais, MN. The half-marathon will begin promptly at 10:00 AM and runners must be checked in no later than 9:30 AM.
