heyther: You are some kind of @ssclown. HEC is a great venue. I've been to 4 concerts and they all ROCKED. Pull your head out of your backside. Oops too far up there for that.

My husband and I went to see Chicago during the Hall County Fair. As many know it was a sold out show. The seating was comfortable, and I do not believe there was a bad seat in the house, unless perhaps the floor seating. This is the kinds of entertainment Grand Island needs to bring in the big numbers. My daughter has been to many events at the Kearney Events Center and stated the Grand Island Events center surpasses Kearney by a mile, on comfort and seating, but unfortunately they get some of the better events. Come on Grand Island, let's use our event center the way it was intended.

I agree they have created a Huge place that has very little actual events people want to see.. If they developed it they need to find an event planner to bring in something people want to see.. Look ONE cool event.. Larry the cable guy but it is NEXT YEAR? sheesh... Come one GI lets step into the future!

ok the heartland events center is pretty good for the grand island nebraska. It would be a lot better if they had better/more shows and concerts
