Description
Join park rangers for an in-depth hike and discussion of some aspect of the canyons ecosystems or history. Meet rangers in the lobby at Park Headquarters. Participants should bring water and snacks for a two to three hour program that will take visitors to seldom-visited areas along the South Rim. Participants will need to have their own vehicle or be willing to car pool with others. Everyone will caravan with the ranger to different locations along the rim. Program topics and locations vary daily. Be prepared for moderate hikes of up to three miles. Program begins October 1.
