Description
Wednesday November 25th at 7:00 pm: We welcome our friends Covenant of the Witches. Please visit their website at: http://cotw.us/. They are presenting a round table discussion on the topic "What is the role of 'Clergy' to our neopagan culture?"? and have invited other local groups to participate. This is a great opportunity to meet area groups and find out more about them and their ideals. Speakers will include Renna Shesso (Shaman and Author of Math for Mystics), Joy Burton (Living Earth), Joy Phelan (JUC CUUPS), MorningGlory DragonFly (former owner of Herbs & Arts), Cynthia LeFevre (Tree in the Circle), John Roesch and Mari Cowley (Circle of Transformation), Connie Stahl (SpiritWise).... and More! By Neo-Pagan, we refer to: • Paganism • Shamanism • Druidism • Heathenism • Asatru • Stregheria • Wicca • Technopaganism • Witchcraft • And any and all other worldviews not mentioned here, but that honor the four elements and this planet as a living system into which people belong, and that give honored place to the cycles of Life on Earth, Sun, Moon and Stars, all as cycles of the Divine. The order of events will be, introductions, brief laying down of definitions by Shen-Tat, then open to each question. Recommended talk time is 3 minutes per speaker per question, which have been pre-selected and already sent to the table participants. Jefferson Unitarian Church is located at 14350 W. 32nd Ave, on the South side of the street, approx 1 mile West of I-70 / Youngfield Avenue on 32nd. If you get to McIntyre Street, you have gone too far. We look forward to welcoming you. Blessings, ~Joy Joy Phelan JUC CUUPS, Founder http://www.juccuups.org/index.html Local Coordinator, Front Range Pagan Pride http://www.frontrangepaganpride.org/ Email: joy@juccuups.org The order of events will be introductions, brief laying down of definitions as stated here by Shen-Tat, then open to each question.
