Hampden Park Glasgow is the 52,000 capacity stadium which serves as home to the Queens Park Football Club as well as the Scottish national football team. Opened in 1903, Hampden Park Glasgow often accommodated over 100,000 fans for games and was the largest stadium in the world right up until 1950 when Brazil's Maracana took over the title.
Due to its impressive capacity, Hampden Park Glasgow is also an ideal setting for a variety of other events; sporting and non-sporting. Indeed, Hampden Park Glasgow has played host to some of the biggest names in music over the years; Coldplay, The Eagles, Rolling Stones, U2, Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Tina Turner are just a few of those featured on The Hampden Park schedule in the past.
The Scottish Football Museum also finds its home in Hampden Park Glasgow.
