Description
Hi all This walk i would rate as easy end of moderate and is a fine hill for beginners and seasoned walkers alike so for all you new members ben A'an serves as an excellent introduction and test of stamina for more demanding hills. Distance covered is 2 miles with a total ascent of 1,521 feet and should take 2/3 hrs depending on fitness. Ben A'an has dominant views over the trossachs, loch katrine and loch achray. To get there follow the A821 north from aberfoyle over dukes pass and continue past achray hotel and continue past road on left for loch katrine and ben A,an car park is about 300yds on right. Boots are a must for this walk ( no trainers )
