St. Mary's Food Bank

Anyone up for volunteering to help at St. Mary's Food Bank? We will be working the assembly line packing boxes or bagging potatoes, apples, oranges or whatever they need us to do. This will be a noon to 3 pm event. The minimum age limit is 12 years old. I encourage those with teenagers to bring them as guests. It is a great event to expose your kids to volunteering and seeing how important it is to help those that are in need. Be sure wear close toe shoes. We will be in the warehouse. After we are done we can stop somewhere for a beverage and bite to eat. Please make sure you are there by noon. They only have the volunteers stay until 3. If you are a member of multiple groups please sign up with only one group so St. Mary's will have an accurate count of how many people we will have. If you RSVP as "Maybe", please confirm at least a couple days prior to the event. We had a number of no-shows and last minute cancelations for this last event. Please be considerate of the fact that this is an organization relying on the number of people who say they will be there to help out. We will need to leave at 11:15 to get to 31st Ave and Thomas by noon.
