Event details: Walking Event: Battlefield Day 1
Description
Mon-Fri, 6am-10pm; Sat, 8-5; Sun 1-5. During the months of July, Aug. & Sept., please call to verify Sunday hours. Closed all holidays. Tour Operators please make arrangements with the POC. Walk 1 - This trail takes in the area of most of the fighting on the first day of the battle . This includes Seminary Ridge, the Railroad Cut, Oak Ridge with the Peace Light, as well as the college campus, and the North and West areas of Gettysburg. The trail is mostly on paved park roads and city sidewalks with a short distance of road shoulders and gravel path.
