Since forming in 1971 âjust for the fun of it,â the Seldom Scene has remained at the forefront of the progressive bluegrass movement, challenging musical boundaries and taking the form to new heights. Wowing audiences from the National Folk Festival to the White House, the Sceneâs musical virtuosity has earned them a well-deserved spot in the Washington Area Music Association Hall of Fame.
