More than 100 rapids. People come from all over the globe to try Gauley. If you don't know, they open the dam on Saturday after Labor day for 6 weeks so people can experience world class 5 rafting. If you've done New River, it's like baby rafting compare to Gauley. Prepare to fall, get wet, scream, anything is possible. So who's in?!?! I was lucky enough to reserve the last cabin for the wknd of 9/11. Rafting is on Saturday 7:30am. It's going to be an all day event. Cabins sleeps 10 comfortably, but we can squeeze in more if necessary, or if some ppl want to camp outside the cabin that's cool too. The cabin has outdoor hottub, kitchen, and grill. So party time before and after rafting! ONLY 2 SPOTS LEFT in the cabin.
