Learn to play the didgeridoo

YOU TOO CAN PLAY THE DIDGERIDOO, presented by Didge Brothers, Joe Gentile and Jerry Dworske, (featured performers at United Nations Day of Peace Celebration in Washington, D.C.) In this workshop you will learn to create the basic drone and all about the mystery of circular breathing with your very own didgeridoo, the cost of which will be covered by the admission fee of $15.00. It will be made from PVC, but we can guarantee that no one will be able to tell the difference between its sound and a very fine Australian eucalyptus or an agave didgeridoo. We shall also introduce you to the techniques of sound healing with the didgeridoo and using the didgeridoo as an instrument for meditation. This will take place at Patrick Spahr's wonderful New Age shop, Ten Thousand Joys in downtown Frederick, Maryland 2 to 5 PM. Following this event, from 7 to 9PM, at the same location, there will be a healing sound concert by Petra Berger playing her complete set of chakra balancing crystal bowls, after which, with time permitting, Joe and Jerry will offer individual didgeridoo healings to all in attendance.
