Volunteer State Conclave
On behalf of the district officers of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity for Districts 31 and 32, we look forward to seeing you at the 2009 Volunteer Conclave for the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
The event agenda includes:

General sessions including:

"Good to Great: Best Practices for Sucessful Chapters"
"Living the Ritual"
"Understanding the Stakeholders"


Small group workshops including:

Officer development
Champion's Quest
Kappa Sigma University


Ritual competition & model initation
Tennessee's Finest Hour

Memorable awards banquet and celebration
"State of the Fraternity Address" by S.E.C. member
Leadership keynote by Alpha-Iota initiate and retired 4 star general, B. B. Bell



Where: Edgewater Hotel in Gatlinburg, TN
When: Friday, January 23rd and Satruday, January 24th
Check-In: 4pm-8pm at the Edgewater Hotel
Meals: Continental breakfast will be provided each morning and the cost of the banquet is covered in the registration fee; all other meals will be on your own
Dress: Business casual on Friday evening and Saturday morning, professional attire on Satruday afternoon and evening
What to Bring: appropriate clothes, pen/pencil, writing pad for notes, money for extra meals and activities

PLEASE NOTE: Registration for this event DOES NOT INCLUDE A HOTEL ROOM. To reserve your hotel room with a major credit card, please call 1-800-423-9582. A limited number of rooms are resreved for $90/night + tax. These rooms are availabe on a first-come, fist-serve basis and this special price will only be available through December 23rd.
PLEASE NOTE: The Edgewater Hotel is owned by a Kappa Sigma brother, who has graciously assisted us with securing the facility. Behavior inconsistent with the Code of Conduct will not be tolerated.
PLEASE NOTE: This event is open to alumni, active undergraduates, and pledges. Alternative events will be made available for pledges during prohibited events.

PLEASE NOTE: Undergraduate registration must be done via this online platform. Registration will be open through Friday, January 9th, 2009.
