Hiking at Lake Norman State Park

Hiking at Lake Norman State Park. There are multiple trails to choose from. Friendly dogs welcome. Not a very strenuous hike/walk. Afterward we will head to 5 guys for burgers. Please follow THESE directions do NOT use the address for the park! HWY 77 North to exit 42. Take a left off of the exit. Go about 2 miles into Troutman. Turn left onto Perth Rd. Its one of the only stoplights in Troutman. Stay on Perth. When the speed changes to 45 start looking for signs for the park. Turn right onto State Park Rd. Stay on this road until you enter the park. You will cross the lake turn left into the next parking lot. I drive a black Expedition and a black German Shepherd so I will be hard to miss.
