Start Point Address / Driving Directions:
2027 61st Street. Take Hwy 45 south from Houston to Galveston Island. After crossing the causeway, take the 61st street exit. Turn right onto 61st. The visitor's center is on the right after the first traffic light. Event Description: Daily 8:30 - 5. Closed Christmas. Call ahead for any changes in times. The walk will be along the Seawall overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Optional to do part of the walk on the beach.
