Description:
The Harborside Train Ride leaves the Museum, travels down Harborside Drive and after crossing 33rd St., back back to the station. Passengers ride inside or out on the decks of the Missouri Pacific Caboose #13895, and wave at the passing autos. Tickets available on a first come frist serve basis. Train rides occur on Saturdays, 11am to 2pm, departing every 20 minutes.Towering at the head of the Strand, the vast Railroad Museum boasts one of the largest restored railroad collections in the southwest, and one of the five largest in the country, with numerous railroad memorabilia and exhibits, including more than 40 pieces of locomotives and rolling stock. South East Texas' most popular railroad museum, there is something here for everyone!
