12th Annual Texas Recycling & Sustainability Summit

The mission of the State of Texas Alliance for Recycling (STAR) is to promote and enhance recycling and diversion activities in the State of Texas. We will accomplish this by fostering communication and the exchange of information regarding recycling among professionals, organizations, governmental entities, and individuals; by complementing and coordinating recycling industry initiatives; and by acting as a clearinghouse of recycling resources. Please join us in spreading the word throughout the state and nation regarding the importance of Recycling & Enhancing our Environment! Our annual Texas Recycling Summit is relevant in educating both industry and the population in general to the benefits of recycling and how these initiatives affect our environment and quality of life. We focus on education because we believe that through knowledge power is grown and our great state of Texas will become an even better place to live, work & grow. Our future depends on taking care of our environment. This years Summit will be the best yet. The Moody Gardens hotel offers a beautiful exhibit hall to showcase your products offering each exhibitor the biggest bang for your exhibit dollars. Our programming promises to be entertaining and informational with speakers on Green Building, Sustainability, Green Landscaping, Business Improvement, Storm cleanup, etc. Our educational tracks are not finalized yet, but the speakers and ideas so far are phenomenal. We are proud to announce that Jerry Powell has been secured as the Keynote Speaker for the conference!
