This walk is mostly on sidewalks and roads. You will see the oldest Maine Fairground, the famous Fryeburg Academy, where Daniel Webster taught; Admiral Peary Park, where Admiral Peary did his dead reckoning for the true North, and Admiral Peary's Fryeburg home. This scenic walk is on sidewalks and roads with one significant hill. See great views of Mt. Washington and the surrounding mountain range. Trail rating is 1+. There is a 1 km option to climb a large boulder called 'Jockey Cap' behind the start point. This portion is rated 2.
