The Fresno Movie Fans July Meetup

Hi Movie Lovers! February will be our first Movie Outing Meetup! We will meet as a group on the Patio at Riverpark, in front of Borders, purchase our own tickets, then go in and see the movie together. After the movie, we will have a brief discussion about the movie and the genre that it fits into. The movie we will see will be "Confession of a Shopaholic". It is a comedy, rated PG, and is based on the book by Sophie Kinsella. After the viewing we will discuss the highs and lows of the film and discuss other movies we like that were also based on books. (For example, The Color Purple, Harry Potter, Memoirs of a Geisha, etc.) Yes, the movie I chose is fluff! But after viewing such dramatic films as Gran Torino, Slumdog Millionaire, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, I think a little fun is in order! Please be sure to RSVP for this Meetup!
