Merian’s use of acrylics and watercolor on silk illuminates and enhances any ambiance with burst of color, texture, and depicts nature’s extraordinary hues. The subject of the exhibited paintings expresses the images of life brought by the current season. Summer, when nature is at its peak, is celebrated with the lines of colors, motion, serenity and light. Stevens conveys appreciation in her beautifully stunning contrast of sunsets and sunrises, suggesting harmony and solitude, peace and vibrancy through color – all recognizable ingredients for balanced living.
