Job Seekers of Fredericksburg January Meetup

We are very fortunate to have Carol Scott with the Virginia Employment Commission, as our guest speaker on the topic of Building a Professional Resume. She will be covering such topics as: how to have a resume that will get a prospective employer's attention, tips on how to best present your work experience, mistakes to avoid on your resume, communicating in the electronic age, etc. She will be providing copies of the Job Hunting Handbook, and Magic. The meeting will be held on October 16, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. at the Virginia Employment Commission office located at 3501 Lafayette Blvd., Fredericksburg, VA 22404. The VEC is located between Lacy's Home Center and The Forum Restaurant. Bring a copy of your resume and business cards if you have them.
